This an event organized by justice impacted individuals to bring together various local organizations, businesses, and service providers in one location to showcase the resources available to the formerly incarcerated community.

Prophetic Resistance Boston

This an opportunity for the community to come together under the issue of Public Safety whereby the BPD and BFD are invited to engage with Grove Hall residents, where food, resources and entertainment are provided.

Everyday Boston

Community Issue:

Amplify the voices of the people that the Grove Hall community itself wants to celebrate. In doing so, the project will seek to represent, in a small but powerful way, the richness of a community that is too often overlooked or misrepresented in mainstream media coverage.

Masjid Al-Qur'an Education Committee Movie Series

Community Issue:

This grant allowed an opportunity for outreach and networking with neighbors, organizations, businesses through multi language flyer distribution and inter generational family movie viewing with discussion and breaking bread and drink together. The grant allowed Masjid Al-Qur'an to set up the infrastructure for movie viewing and cultural events for the neighborhood.

Lleya P Sewing Project

Community Issue:

The funds provided by the Grove Hall community were very useful for ordering the supplies needed for the workshop such as sewing machines, sewing kits, fabrics food and beverages for every workshop. During these 10 weeks they trainees learned how to be a better human being in our community by assisting those in need and be a role model. This grant supported this project by providing the funds to buy the materials needed for a successful completion of the workshops.

Elevate Boston Foundation

Community Issue:

Elevate Boston distributed food and provided critical supplies (masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers) to Grove Hall residents.

Union Capital Boston

Community Issue:

Grove Hall Network Nights are an opportunity to come together, build relationships & trust, engage in meaningful conversations about issues & action, and exchange favors and resources.

The Friends of the Ave & Project RIGHT's Beautification on Geneva Avenue

Community Issue:

This project focused on activating vacant space in order to provide young people and residents the opportunity to view the potential of this open space in creating opportunities and resources in Grove Hall.

Healing Through Three C's - Community, Culture and Collaboration.

Community Issue:

The goal of Healing Through Three C's was to unify all surrounding properties within the communities that are affected by violence and trauma.

Soledad Boyd - Grove Hall Mixtape

Community Issue:

The Grove Hall Mixtape considers how much the Grove Hall community is changing and how necessary it is to make sure that Grove Hall's identity is not lost.
